Andy started in the insurance business in 1989 selling life insurance part-time to bring extra income and a better life for his family while working the truck line. At that time, Denver, CO was experiencing hardships coming out of recession, and several oil companies had pulled out of the state. Because of this, people were very uneasy about spending money.

After about two years of selling life insurance, Andy thought hard to find something that everyone needs and concluded that it was auto and home insurance. At that time, Andy started an agency with Farmers Insurance. During his time with Farmers, he earned many awards and was in the top 5% of agents.

In 2008, Andy made the switch to become an independent agent to serve his local clients better. For the last nine consecutive years, Andy’s agency has earned the Five Star Professional’s Auto/Home Insurance Professionals Award.

Outside of the office, Andy enjoys going to the lake to water skiing and camping with his family during the summer. He also enjoys four-wheeling and vacations with his wife. He has five grandchildren that are his absolute joy!
